The All of Us Research Program is a nationwide effort that is building one of the nation’s largest biomedical data resources of its kind.  The goal of the program is to improve the health of persons living in the United States through more effective and tailored prevention strategies and treatments for diseases. The program collects and stores health data from a diverse group of participants from across the United States. It aims to recruit 1 million or more participants that reflect everyone living in the United States.

Researchers from the All of Us Research Program conduct a wide variety of studies that may help improve our understanding of human health.

The All of Us Research Program operates a traveling exhibit (The All of Us Journey) that actively engages community members to learn about and join this research program that may accelerate research and improve health.

The traveling exhibit is housed in a specially designed RV that provides an interactive experience through exploration and engagement.  Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, and can enroll on-site.  Participants can also enroll in advance at joinallofus.org/tour

"Some communities have not been invited to take part in research, or they were invited but not told what was involved. For these reasons, we know very little about them."

LULAC El Paso is working with Project Amistad to house the traveling exhibit at Amistad’s location – 3210 Dyer (corner of Dyer and Fort Blvd). The RV will be at Amistad from Tuesday June 11, through Friday June 14 from 10am to 4pm.

The All of Us Research Program aims to reduce health disparities and improve health equity in populations that are historically underrepresented in research such as racial and ethnic minorities, rural communities, low socioeconomic status communities, sexual and gender minorities, and persons with physical developmental, and intellectual disabilities.

For more information about participating and learning about the All of Us Research Program contact Kristina Peña at Kpena@projectamistad.org and plan to visit the All of Us Mobile Enrollment Center between June 11 and June 14.
