
At a heartwarming breakfast meeting hosted by Mr. Richard Castro, owner of 35 McDonald's in West Texas and southeastern New Mexico, seven outstanding students were awarded $1,500 scholarships from LULAC. Mr. Castro, a beloved philanthropist and respected business leader in El Paso, inspired everyone with his keynote speech, encouraging the students to work hard, stay determined, and make their parents proud.
These scholarships were given in memory of six former National LULAC Presidents from El Paso. Meet our exceptional scholarship recipients:
